The Stake Presidency has the first opportunity to get tickets that the Stake President receives. As Ken is the Stake Clerk, he decided that he would accept 2 of the tickets. What a blessing. It's a great birthday present for me also.
We will be able to spend time with Pam and her family for one of their wonderful Sunday dinners and also see our good friends, the Shackelfords, who moved down to Utah last fall.

It will be a fast trip, as we will be returning the Monday following Conference, but we will enjoy every minute of it. It is a long drive for us, 15 hours or so. Ken is a marathon driver for sure. I might drive for awhile, but usually I read or knit or nap. I'm so spoiled by him!
Plus we will lose 1 hour as we are on Pacific Coast time and Utah is Mountain time.
Our seats are on the main level, right behind where the Seventies will be seated. We also have vouchers for free parking. What a wonderful opportunity! We've never attended General Conference. We will probably be sitting with our Stake President and his wife, as they will be attending as well.
