Never a Dull Moment

We had planned a leisurely Saturday morning.  Ken and I didn't get to bed till after 1:00 this morning.  I was puttering with some crafty project and he didn't get home from putting in high speed Internet in one of our church buildings till very late.  So--no pressure to get up early.  When we did get up and I opened the blinds I saw that the pond level was down to about 8 inches.  That darn sprayer had fallen over again, draining the water out.  Plus--it has been cold enough for ice to have formed-about an inch worth.  Of course I was worried about our fish.

Poor Ken.  He dragged out the gizmo that the hose is wrapped around - AGAIN - and had to refill the pond.  To make it even MORE fun, it is sleeting out.  We are actually expecting snow in the lowlands beginning tonight and lasting through the first part of next week.  It isn't going to be too big of a deal as it is going to be sporadic.  We'll see if we actually get much snow.

It's okay with me--more blogging opportunities!

Anyway, back to Ken.  He was standing out in the sleet and I took our big golf umbrella out to him.  Here he is.  I stood out in the sleet for a couple of seconds to get this photo.  It is not fun out there.

Doesn't he look like he's having a wonderful time????

Sorry Ken! I don't envy you handy men, especially when it is freezing out and you are stuck fixing whatever has broken!
Great picture of how all of us would feel if we had to stand out it the sleet!
