A gift to the community.

Our stake center has been transformed into a Christ-centered Christmas display for the whole community.  Words cannot do it justice.  So much was accomplished in 3 short days, by not too many people.  Some worked 8 - 10 hour days to get it all put together.  Here are some of the photos of the event just before opening to the public at 6:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2011.  The event runs through Sunday the 11th, culminating with a choral presentation by members of the Arlington, Washington Stake.

This outdoor display was prepared by our friends the Shackelfords as they were preparing to move to Utah.  Ken Oehrig and Barbara Shackelford cut it out.  It was painted by someone else and makes a lovely welcome for visitors.
This is one of the foyer displays.

One of the more unusual sets.
I believe this one is called
"Pillars of Heaven"

I wish that you all could see this in person.  It has a real "WOW" factor. I've never seen anything else like it.
