I got up this morning and opened the blind that is on the window that overlooks our little fishpond. I've been keeping it closed to conserve heat and was surprised by what I saw when I looked out. Ken is going to have some chilly repair work to do when he gets home.
The sprayer that keeps the water circulating to keep the pond oxygenated tipped. When it tipped a lot of the water got sprayed out onto the patio. As a result, the water level has dropped considerably. It is important that the pond not freeze over completely or the fish will die. I think that they're okay for now. I just sent this picture to Ken at work for him to see.
