I'm loaning it and another ceramic set I have to our Stake. We are putting on a HUGE Nativity Festival for the community from Dec. 8 - 11. Here is a picture of the invitations we are handing out. Ken passed a lot of them out at work the other day.
After decorating every room in the Stake Center plus the cultural hall, we will be having no weekly meetings in the building the week of the activity, plus we will only be holding Sacrament meeting on the 11th because every room will have some display in it. They've erected a huge sign advertising the event by the road in front of the Stake Center. And I might add, the road is a very busy one.---They built a Walmart right across the street from the Stake Center about a year ago, and there is tons of businesses down the street.
We have a Stake Choir that is putting on a concert in the evening of the 11th and we have been practicing some really neat and different Christmas carols. We have a Spiritual, one that is called The Brazillian Christmas Carol with a Latin beat and the first Christmas Carol written in Canada in the 1600s by a Jesuit Priest that was originally writen in the Huron Indian language. This version from Youtube is similar to what we are doing. It is neat because it starts out in the Huron Lanuage, which is extinct now. She then sings in French and in English also. This carol wasn't translated into English until 1926. (We are only singing in English--Thank goodness!
This started out being a blog about my other Nativity Set but morphed. Anyway, we are loaning our artifical Christmas tree also. The whole Cultural Hall is going to be filled with Nativity Sets. Ken helped with the electrical part and wiring up for all of the Christmas trees and lighting that will be set up. It is going to be really exciting. Some of our Ward members marched in a Santa Parade in Arlington, WA today to advertise our Festival too. I'll let you know how it turns out.

That sounds so nice. I wish I could be there to hear all these neat carols you are singing. I'm sure it will be beautiful. I loved your other nativity post. I knew when I read it that my mom would comment about her sentimental feelings over the camel head lop-off. :)
